Italian Sausage and Red Sauce



  1. Cook onions and garlic over medium heat under tender;  add Italian sausage and cook until browned.

  2. In a Dutch oven, combine tomato paste with red wine. 

  3. Add cans of water until desired consistency is reached. 

  4. Add spices, sausage mixture and mushrooms. 

  5. Bring to a bubble over medium heat; cover and simmer for at least 2 hours.
